A Custom Kitchen on a High-Low Budget

Our Anthem Highlands project in Broomfield, Colorado is a stunning, modern kitchen

featuring a mix of white, blues and natural walnut. Our design team helped update this early

2000s era floor plan using some high-low budget tricks to transform the popular Pulte Dillon

floor plan into a beautiful, custom feeling family home.

With a panel-ready appliance package as part of the remodel, we helped the

homeowners mix and match cabinetry from Woodland Cabinetry and Legend Cabinetry to

create a cohesive and fully custom looking kitchen. Woodland Cabinetry, one of the cabinet

companies we work with at Julia Zettler Design, offers beautiful semi-custom cabinets that our

clients love. Woodland offers a door style, wood species and color for anyone and can make

those specialty items like appliance panels. Under the same ownership group, we also

represent Legend Cabinetry which offers a beautiful cabinetry product with many of the

upgrades our clients are looking for - soft close drawers, full-extension undermount glides -

while keeping prices more budget friendly with a more limited number of sizes and products

available. With some thoughtful design and contractor ingenuity, we were able to give these

homeowners the custom touches they loved with Woodland Cabinetry - like panel ready

appliances and custom walnut interiors in the butler’s pantry, for example - while building the

rest of the space around Legend’s cabinetry offerings. We love how these two cabinet lines can

be used together, allowing us to provide clients with options for beautiful, functional cabinetry

that fits any budget.

Stay tuned for more from this project. This was a big remodel with custom woodwork,

walnut accents throughout, a relocated fireplace to create a feature wall, and more!
