Mountain New Build

We were brought in on this project to help make final selections decisions, but as we started converting the floor plans we noticed a few issues that would make living in this home difficult: Primarily, the heart of the home - the kitchen, dining and living space - did not allow for proper clearances while also fitting real furniture. We relocated the dining room to give the kitchen the appropriate space needed for people to move around and barstools to be pulled out and giving more breathing room to the living room so a sofa could comfortably fit in the room. We relocated a door to a powder room so the toilet wasn’t visible from the front door and re-worked the mudroom to make it more functional for a busy family.
